General Questions
Q. Is the price per person or total?
A. The price for Chavasse & Snowden Houses is an individual price per person. Coury & Dupres Houses are priced ob 2 guests sharing or 3-4 guests sharing one cottage.
Q. Is Linen and Bedding provided?
A. All bedding and linen is included in the price.
Q. Are towels provided?
A. We don't provide towels, but towels can be hired at extra cost, £5 for two towels 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel.
Q. Is the heating/electric included in the price?
A. All primary heating the oil fired central heating, electric under floor and wall heaters are included in the price.
Q. Do you provide wood for the wood burners?
A. Wood for the Rum Ration and wood burners can be purchased in the farm store or in the local supermarkets.
Q. Who has use of the 'Rum Ration Bar'?
A. The Rum Ration is for the use of everyone staying at Chavasse Farm. All three cottages have their own key.
Q. Is there a BBQ?
A. There is a large brick/oil drum BBQ next to the 'Rum Ration' and two mobile wheeled BBQ's in the farm store, all are available for guests to use. Bags of BBQ coals and fire lighters can be purchased from the farm store.
Q. Is there TV?
A. Each house has basic UK Sky TV with 200+ free view channels, and DVD player. (if you take your Sky card from home you can receive all you usual channels).
Q. Is there internet?
A. The farm is covered by a free WIFI connection, just take you own laptop, search for wireless networks, live box 0070 will appear, there’s no password just log on and go.
Q. Do you have any cycles?
A. We have four mountain bikes in the farm store available for guests to rent.
Q. Do you provide Battlefield Tours?
A. Chavasse Farm does conduct Battlefield tours, if you would like a tour we can arrange one for you. See the Battlefield Tour page.
Q. Do you have any Great War research material?
A. Each cottage has its own library of around 100 books covering the Great War but mainly the local Battle of the Somme.
Q. Is there a washing machine and tumble dryer?
A. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer available for guests to use, located in the store/barn.

Ypres: 126 km, 1 hour 15 mins.
Verdun: 272 km, 2 hours 25 mins.
Calais: 160 km, 1 hour 25 mins.
Disneyland Paris: 170 km, 1 hour 30mins.
The Beach: 143 Km, 1 hour 35 mins.
